Surprised they didn't claim that Tori made this album after her "eighth" miscarriage. C'mon - did Tori really sit there and say, "well, since I last spoke to you, I've had another 2 miscarriages". They just throw that shit in to titillate Tori's rabid fan-base. Or maybe the interview was done in consultation with Tori's gyno (sp?). Nathan. . I think her covering that song has a lot to answer for. Also, in regards to hats, she doesn't like Fred Durst's hat. I have interview snippet of her on Channel [v] being almost forced by resident fucknut Jabbatron to wear a Durst-a-like hat and saying in conclusion to J's repeated efforts to place it anywhere on her body "I will not wear that hat!". Although I have a *very* vague suspicion that he may be the lead singer of some group like KoRn? Am I right? Nathan. np - "Digging In The Dirt" by Peter Gabriel. . I haven't heard too much Bjork stuff, but I've got that particular song Nathan mentioned it (I'm so versed I don't even know what it's called.. lol), but it contains the lyrics "I am not fucking Bhuddist but this is englightenment". I thought it was hilarious. It's Beck's Alarm call remix if memory serves. I really like it. Secondly, I need some help. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get singles and albums accreditations information from. The ARIA website has them between 1997-2001, but nothing earlier, I have emailed them to ask about it, but thought I'd ask you bunch see as we have some chart ethusiasts (like Nathan for example) and CD salespeople extraordinaire (like Kate for example). The ARIA > website has them between 1997-2001, but nothing > earlier, I have > emailed them to ask about it, Lol - don't expect any useful reply from them, for the following reasons: a) Nobody who works for them knows anything about music, and couldn't give a shit even if they did; b) this kind of information falls under the "Official Secrets Act", which holds that companies such as ARIA "own" the charts - so such specific information from them is not meant to be made publicly available. (makes sense, huh?) Also note, gold & platinum accreditations reflect trade sales only - ie, the no. of copies shipped to stores - they do NOT necessarily represent 'actual sales'. eg - I recall a Wiggles album debuting at something like #78 but being accredited gold status in its first week - even with such a low chart position. > Also, Kate could you mail me offlist please I still > have all that > Matchbox20 stuff for your friend. OMG... How embarrassing. Kinda like posting to the list, "Kate, by the way, I've still got those Bros CD's I borrowed from your friend." > P.S. as far as mottos for oztori go.. why wasn't > "You can't fuck to a > metronome" ever considered? I'm sure there are a select bunch of individuals, somewhere, who no doubt find metronomes very sexual objects, and would dispute this claim. Tori relevance in all this - Tori has never been accredited even a GOLD disc for any of her releases in Aus. Nathan. . Get email alerts & NEW webcam video instant messaging with Yahoo! Exactly.. Or, more likely, $2.95. Although of course, I have 'happily' (?) parted with $83 before to buy Tori's Crucify Live EP single. And that was 6 years ago! I remember "back in my day" when cassingles (lol) were "only" $3.99. I shudder to think at how much pocket $ parents are having to fork out to their little 'unz these days, for them to be able to afford $8.95 (is that what most singles are now? Or is it $9.95?) to buy a CD single for just one song. Any wonder Napster-like things are so in demand. Nathan. . Get email alerts & NEW webcam video instant messaging with Yahoo!
