I was sifting through stuff Neil Gaiman said about the new album, and saw the quote about him listening to the B-sides for the album. I wonder what the B-sides are, now that we know that it's a covers album? I'm assuming that they are all covers too. OMG I am listening to that radio station WBER over the net (just wanted to check out the station responsible for letting out Strange Little Girl) and it's playing now!!! hahahaha even though I downloaded it today, it's still funny to hear it on a radio station. It's not a bad station, the link to their website to listen to it is on thedent. Apparently the song is on high rotation on the station. Maybe it's this one? I can't be bothered going to get the quote but it's basically what he said. It was so funny to hear it come on that WBER radio station I was listening to. I was just cheerily humming along to some music and then they said "blah blah blah Tori Amos after the break!". I got quite excited, and sure enough, there after the break was Strange Little Girl. It was good to hear it in it's entirety, although those start and end bits don't go for very long, so on the versions that are kicking around at the moment we're only missing out on a beat or two. I wonder if JJJ will play this new album as a feature album of the week? Maybe we should hound....? I'm assuming that they will play it a bit. It was still streaming, but no noise. Right at the last note! Very, very odd. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 18 Jul 2001 23:19:52 -0700 From: "Hill, Renee" Subject: RE: [oztori] Reeeeemix and Radio according to things i heard yesterday, JJJ had already played it. but there have been NO radio copies.
