I have a little problem. My sister moved out, so consequently I've turned her room into my office. In moving the computer from my room to the new office, everything on my screen seems to have gotten bigger? I don't get it. I fixed up the resolution and everything, because that was stuffed, but everything is 50% bigger - I don't get it. Help? Thanks. ~Andrew~ "Jane came by with a lock of your hair She said that you gave it to her On the night that you planned to go clear Did you ever go clear?" ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 16 Jul 2001 08:36:24 +0100 (BST) From: =?iso-8859-1?q?Daniel?= Subject: Re: [oztori] OT - the big move (calling all computery type people) It means something has been reset in the software...I think. He also happened to murmur stuff about catching a fish and being a man. Well, I too did catch a fish when I was a wee tacker, but that just qualified me into boyhood. You see, I analysed it with a friend, this whole catching a fish thing. It now gives me the licence to engage in flatulence at any given public urinal, scratch my crotch whenever I desire, and those sorts of man-acts. It was also my suggestion that each man had to carry the picture of himself with his 'catch' as identification in his wallet, and that we have "man" police, where they scout toilets waiting to catch out unsuspecting non-men farting at public urinals. Oh wow, unemployment is REALLY getting to my head. On that note, I hate job interviews. Even worse, I hate employers who don't ring you back, even if you have had two interviews to the total of three hours. It's SO rude and unprofessional. I'm listening to Do It Again! I think Claudia Karvan (sp?) is cool always. The only person that mildly annoyed me was her flatmate, the guy, but only because he's meant to be the shows sex symbol and well... I demand sexier sex symbols! But regardless, it has potential. Will be interesting to see how it progresses. I also think first episodes often feel like you've come in halfway through... mainly because you have. And in so far as the sex stuff goes, I just think its rude to only show bosoms. As a good friend of mine said "Its not bosoms I want to see, I'm very well acquainted with those already!" Are there any pop songs on high rotation at the moment that are driving you mad? Oh, and I registered myself on thedent today. The funny thing was, every nick I chose, it told me that nick was already in use. Ick! It is insanely annoying... But i must admit right now to loving Mandy Moore's "In My Pocket" and Mya's "Free", not to mention ANYTHING from Moulin Rouge. I love that soundtrack (well, except for track 5 - skip it every time). I started the voting and we got enough votes and now all Alanis fans have their very own forum at the Dent to talk without being flamed by devout Toriphiles (who, Nathan R? *innocent look*).
