It was a beautiful rendition, an earnest one even if you don't like her style. d) What do you want to know about the song? Its on the higher learning soundtrack (isn't it?). e) I hope your sister does kill you! haha! This is a really cool idea...but it wouldn't work with the logo that won because its not a banner logo...if it was a banner logo then it could probably have worked..maybe...I still really like the idea of the banner going down the sleeves...but it isn't a banner....so i'll just shut up now =P the logo would prolly look best on the back with the hair/eyes on the front...but it might still look good on the sleeves up near the shoulders...you'll see what I mean when I send them to Dan and he can put 'em up ;) Neri =8O) P.S. I had another thought....if the logo WAS to work on the sleeve somehow...then maybe everyone can still have a quote if they want one on the back of the shirt with hair/eyes on the front? That way everyone could choose what quote they want and what font and just have it in purple text on a black shirt or something... just a thought..... ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 19 Jun 2001 17:03:00 +1000 From: "Lavenda" Subject: [oztori] eyes... imposters??? Firstly... I think as the logo is, on the sleave jsut off the shoulder is good... this sidesteps the issue of long or short sleave, which personally doesn't worry me which we get. It also means that I don't have to wear my hair up for people to see it. Plain eyes on the front... this is growing on me... As for the email from the account of Jasmina... I have no idea what is going on there. I replied to the mail privately, and of course, don't really know whether I got a reply back from Jasmina or the person who seemed to be using her account... if indeed there was somebody else. We are all free to hold our own opinions, I jsut don't understand somebody who doesn't like many of Tori's songs, why they've gone to the hassle of joining a Tori list. Personally, Tori has done better covers than LMR, but I don't think that simply because someone who claims to like a few of her songs doesn't like one cover she's done means Tori has to stop covering any song... Hopefully the real Jasmina will stand up and this will all jsut be a bad dream... In other news, since twiddling my thumbs at crosswinds for what seams like ages, I've finally gone to envy.nu to create the latest version of my website. Stay tuned for details...
