I kind of half heartedly agreed to go along as i liked spawn but as my best friend sally said, we were convinced they were gonna sound 'tits' live. i couldnt have been more wrong.... as soon as she started singing tears stang my eyes, it was so amazing that we went back for the second show the next night. I just cant explain it, ive never been so moved by a live performance, not even polly did this to me. so, if you ever get the chance to check out this amazing and somewhat undiscovered band, DO IT while the gigs are still small and intimate!!!! And i'll be the first in line to buy their album, which they've promised should be out by the end of the year - in the meantime there're a couple of EPs floating around.... :) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 26 May 2001 00:51:04 +1000 From: AndrewR Subject: Re: Voyager was Re: [oztori] BUFFY At 14:23 25/05/2001 +1000, Lavenda wrote: >----- Original Message ----- >From: AndrewR > >> That's nothing - I was innocently posting to a Trek website webboard - >> which I often do, and some FUCK-WIT... spoiled the end of the season for >> Buffy... in the subject line too... so there was no MISSING it... what an >> ARSEHOLE. > >it's like that on a Voyager list I'm on. let alone the Star Trek website, >which I think had a higly spoileristic pic for Voyager on their front page. >Now I know how it ends (basically), and I seriously didn't want to know... Anyway, I had decided after year 11 that I hated chemistry, and so I did basically jack-shit in chemistry in year 12.... I came home after the biology exam and watched Ricki Lake rather than studying for the chem exam in the afternoon. "lol" Time well spent, indeed. In third year uni I sat up ALL night cramming for an exam at 9am the next day... I also had to get a 6:10am train to get to the exam venue! I was worried that I would fall asleep during the exam - I think I did doze off on the train. Tori content - I bet Tori knows bugger all about chemistry. [sorta Tori/chemistry related... I originally thought that when Tori was singing about an "ether twist" in the highly over-rated 'Suede', that she was talking about chemical 'ethers' (???? - please forgive me if no such thing exists, chemistry boffins out there). ] Nathan. Well, I'm on the 'puter... and I've never known what the Tuileries was... I gathered it was something to do with Napoleon... well I did a google search and the first link I clicked made it all very clear.
