Deucalion was good, but "A Cage OF Butterflies" was absolutely brilliant. And did he write "Mandragora"? No, that was David McRobbie. I actually think McRobbie did Schemes and I've getting mixed up. But Caswell was definately Deucalion and Butterflies. And on Tolkien's writing style - yeah, it takes getting used to. It took me two goes to get through "The Hobbit". I got through Rings Book 1 in one go, but waited a year before starting on Book 2...now I can just sit and read him any time. Does anyone remember the computer game of LOTR? I think I've got it somewhere, it was good! The Duncton books are good too, if a little overdone ["needlessly messianic" and "having tickets on oneself" are phrases that spring to mind when describing them]. Deucalion was good, but "A Cage OF Butterflies" was absolutely brilliant. And did he write "Mandragora"? No, that was David McRobbie. I actually think McRobbie did Schemes and I've getting mixed up. But Caswell was definately Deucalion and Butterflies. And on Tolkien's writing style - yeah, it takes getting used to. It took me two goes to get through "The Hobbit". I got through Rings Book 1 in one go, but waited a year before starting on Book 2...now I can just sit and read him any time. Does anyone remember the computer game of LOTR? I think I've got it somewhere, it was good! The Duncton books are good too, if a little overdone ["needlessly messianic" and "having tickets on oneself" are phrases that spring to mind when describing them]. But they're great stories once you wade through all the stuff. In Tori News?
