At one gig there were T-shirts so I got me self a lovely black one with the lyrics to No, Surrender all over the front of them. And the last gig i went to they had the Album and the No, Surrender EP on sale which came with a free signed booklet.....the pages of which I've posted on here before, but if you missed them then here they are again...... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v639/porl/01-frontcover.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v639/porl/02-page1and2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v639/porl/03-page3and4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v639/porl/04-page5and6.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v639/porl/05-page7and8.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v639/porl/06-page9and10.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v639/porl/07-page11and12.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v639/porl/08-page13and14.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v639/porl/09-backcover.jpg - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Leah Heino" To: Cc: Sent: Monday, April 21, 2008 7:39 PM Subject: Re: OV: Re: currie > There were full length CDs at the table in Mpls and Milwaukee, but no > singles or any other kind of merch at either show, as far as I know. However.......my husband grabbed the set list off the stage when it was over and i can post that. though....Justin did several requests that replaced what he had planned to do and i'm sorry to say i may not know one or two of them but i will try to list them. Maybe someone else who was there can chime in and correct me or fill in what i don't know... First is the list he planned (and in red what he did instead) What Is Love For? Not So Sentimental Now The Last To Know Tell Her This Make It Always Be Too Late - think he did this around the 8th song Something In That Mess - I don't remember him doing this one but did Spit In The Rain (by request) Still In Love Be My Downfall - he did this around the 5th song Gold Dust - He did NOT do this one Not Where It's At - sat down on the stage step for a few mintues while singing As Long As You Don't Come Back - - not sure if he did this song or not In The Frame Sleep Instead of Tear Drops (by request) Driving With The Brakes On - he did this about the 9th or 10th song No, Surrender Encore: Being Somebody Else - He did NOT do this one If I Ever Loved You - He did NOT do this one Nothing Ever Happens - He did NOT do this one His encore was basically the last two Sleep Instead of Tear Drops and No, Surrender. He never left the stage. Interesting that Roll To Me wasn't even on the list. I think there was one more request but can't remember. Anyone? The best Justin Currie I have ever seen! His voice nearly brought me to tears, i was so moved, way more than when i used to see the Dels. I wanted to fly to SF today and go to the show tonight. The show in SF was sold out as the radio station up there KFOG was promoting it, plus, they play his cd at least once a day every single day during the week. You can listen to KFOG on the internet. My husband was talking to Pete (his piano and accordian player) and Pete said they were trying to get a gig in San Diego but it didn't work out. I really need them to come back soon! We hung around with just a few others till Justin came and everyone got pictures taken with him (except me cause i was too shy) but my husband got him to sign the poster he pulled off the venue wall. works for me :) _____________________________________________________________________________ _______ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo!
