More than we had even hoped for. To add to Mike's review, the other songs he added at the end were Here and Now and Jimmy Blue. He also added something no one I talked to knew. He said it was "for a friend" and part of the lyrics talked about this not being a funeral, but the passing of another year and then something about the other guy being buried under here. Anyone know what this is? I was glad to hear the two songs that were not on What is Love For (this one and As Long as you don't come back), because it may mean another CD is in the works. :-) Diane has a complete set list and I'm sure she will put it up later. He did not do Spit in the Rain. He did about 6 songs in the encore, so I think Spit just fell to the wayside. Justin looked and sounded great. Suit, tie, pompadour! He was really on top of his game last nite. A treat was at the end of Here and Now, for the two verses sung at once, Justin sang his part and the audience sang the other simultaneously that Iain would have been singing in shows past. Justin was personable and gracious as always after the show, talking to everyone who wanted his time. We got a great family photo with him (Thanks, Diane!) as after all these years of our son growing up with Del Amitri music and talk, he was finally old enough to go to a club show! I can't tell you how pumped he was - the show was one thing, but meeting and speaking with Justin afterward were the icing on the cake. All in all, one very memorable evening. It reminds me of the fun many of us had in 1999 going to Dels shows on both sides of the pond and sending out late-night write-ups. Great times! Just wanted everyone to know that Justin's performance at Mountain Stage from December 2 is currently downloadable on the Mountain Stage site (_http://www.mountainstage.org/_ (http://www.mountainstage.org/) ). Scroll down to the bottom right portion of the page, right click the speaker icon, and select "Save target as..." to download the mp3. You'll have to download the entire two-hour show - 104 MB - so it will take awhile. Justin's portion is halfway through. It's only three songs (Something In That Mess, No, Surrender, and Be My Downfall) but certainly enjoyable. I think they update the site with new shows each Sunday, so this might not be available after tomorrow - I'm not sure. I hope you catch this before they take the link down. Good luck and enjoy! Keep the reviews coming! Cheers, Jack **************Need a new ride? Check out the largest site for U.S. used car listings at AOL Autos.
