Love to know how much very recent live stuff is knocking about and what kind of quality it's in. I've got a few mp3's of interviews with live studio performances but love to know what else is "out there" Pourl - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kelly Doudna" To: "Darren Holmquist" Sent: Friday, April 18, 2008 6:30 AM Subject: OV: Justin in Minneapolis > Hello all. IN THE FRAME!! Can you believe it? I just about fell over. I must mention that Not Where it's At was done with Pete (?) on piano, Justin just on vocals in a show-tunesy Tom Jones finger snapping arm flailing kind of way. Hilarious. The real stand out, I would say, was Make it Always be Too Late...just gorgeous. As a wee lass who saw Del Amitri at the Basilica before owning anything more than Twisted and Hatful of Rain, when I finally did get SOSP, I was just confused as to what others liked about that song. I've come around in recent years, and last night solidified it as a hidden favorite of mine (whereas in the frame has always been an obvious favorite). I also distinctly remember being told that I shouldn't expect to hear Nothing Ever Happens all those years ago (angry youth protest song that no longer applied, etc.) and so it felt like my 17-year-old longshot dreams were coming true. I told my husband last night, "see, that's why I had to PLAN to go to Milwaukee, because if I hadn't, I'd be here saying 'I have to go to Milwaukee' and scrambling at the last minute." Hi everyone, just thought I would say that I'm 99.9% sure I saw Iain Harvie and his family (wife + daughter?) walking around Oxford the other day. I didn't bother him because he was with his family though. Cheers Chris __________________________________________________________ Sent from Yahoo! Mail. Hi Chris He does live in Oxford now, and it would have been his son Louis you saw - he hasn't got a daughter! I saw Madeline and Louis there a couple of years ago when they stopped to watch a dance performance I was in. Louis is certainly a chip off the old block - the same blue eyes.
