Justin was just on NYC's best (tiny, public) radio station, WFUV, in a pretty extended interview that was recorded when he was here for the mini-tour. Its up on their archives now (a sample: of the album before some changes, Justin said "The original record was difficult to get to unless you've had at least two bottles of wine."). Check it out... The stream is: http://wfuv.venaca.com/archive/7463.asx Or go to this link and scroll down to Justin: http://wfuv.venaca.com/cgi-bin/colinker.cgi?colink=102882903384418 Enjoy, Brian. My husband and I are an itunes-ers to save space and hassle...just wondering if there's anything in the hardcopy that would justify getting that as well as the straight MP3 (other than the obvious benefit of artist support from buying two copies...I already did that for Dan Wilson's solo release this month, which is beautiful, btw) - -- - --- Be careful how you interpret the world: it is like that. --Erich Heller ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 26 Oct 2007 00:45:30 +0100 From: "Porl" Subject: OV: mp3's from MySpaces I've had a few enquiries about how to get mp3's off MySpaces when the Download button is not active....Well it's quite simple. All you do is get a Wave recorder, I use "Nero Wave Editor", and set it to record from your master source, then all you do is set it recording and then go to the myspace and play the track you want to record. The wave recorder should capture the sound the MySpace page makes and when it ends you tell the wave recorder to stop recording and then clean up the beginning and ends of the recording, chopping out any blank gaps etc...and then you save the file as a wave file (.wav) at 16 bits 44khz.....the resulting file can be burnt to audio cd, or you can get a wave to mp3 convertor and convert to mp3... Keep it under your hat though, it's an inside secret Tee hee hee Paul ------------------------------ End of oppositeview-digest V9 #76 *********************************
