Subject: OV: Re: oppositeview-digest V9 #14 Thanks, Darren!!! It's always great to hear Dels tunes, no matter what or where. Sometimes the unexpected moments are the best. I've heard JC and the boys in a highway oasis on a freeway outside Chicago, and my first introduction to the band was hearing "Kiss This Thing Goodbye" in an Applebee's restaurant. I became obsessed with finding out who was the band that played that song. Purchasing all the CDs, chasing down B-sides and thousands of listens later, I'm still hooked. Recently, whilst shopping in a suburban Milwaukee grocery store, what to my wondering ears should appear but "Not Where It's At"? I stopped dead in my tracks and started, not so silently, singing along. The smile on my face was enough to disarm those staring shoppers who might otherwise have thought I was a deranged singing lunatic (although they would not be far from wrong!!). My shopping experience and the rest of my day was brightened by this small slice of bliss. So keep the tunes coming, Darren, and thanks for your stellar efforts!! ------------------------------ End of oppositeview-digest V9 #15 *********************************
