I liked "Some Of Those Tears" and "Thaw Freeze Thaw" more than the other two, probably because they had more of a melody going on and were more structured. Looking back, I guess there were hints of this on CYDMG? and especially on Belong, Belong (Unbeliever and You Love Me harken back to "classic" Dels). I'll reserve my final opinion until I hear the whole finished album. Dave PS - can someone remind me what year Del Amitri played the World's Largest Block Party in Chicago? ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 20 Apr 2006 21:36:20 -0700 From: "Darren Holmquist" Subject: RE: OV: new Del Amitri tunes on MySpace >---- Original Message ---- >>PS - can someone remind me what year Del Amitri played the World's >Largest Block Party in Chicago? I believe that was July 17, 1999... someone will correct me if I'm wrong... ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 21 Apr 2006 17:39:19 +1000 (EST) From: Michael Holt Subject: OV: Has Justin signed? Does anyone know if Justin has actually signed a contract with Hybrid Recodings or any othe label? If he has signed wih Hybrid they are being very quiet about it... something that is a little difficult to fathom since their headliner at the moment is the Gin Blossoms... All I want is to know if I am going to see the new album in my lifetime.
