I think mine would be , IF I won a few million dollars..... I would give Del Amitri quite a bit of cash to tour, record an album if they would like, get a good promotions manager, and keep all of the profits for themselves! No record companies to impress (even though they would) and no worries about how much $$ they're bringing in. Just a tour to get them back out in the world and allow us to hear those lovely songs live again. I would of course, ask them for a private concert.. :) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 8 Feb 2006 15:11:56 -0800 (PST) From: Dave Subject: OV: Good news This was posted in the "News" section yesterday on Mark Freegard's website: "Justin Currie tells me hes secured a deal in North America for the release of his first solo album Rebound which I helped him complete last year." Also, if you go to Mark's site (www.markfreegard.com) and head to the MP3 Jukebox page, you can hear Justin singing on a couple songs written by Freegard and his late partner Gail Wylie. There's "You Are" in live and studio versions and a live version of "Rocking Boy". ------------------------------ End of oppositeview-digest V8 #25 *********************************
