My plea for new music to put up on RFDA only culled one track... "Milk & Honey" by a band called Fury in the Slaughterhouse from our friend Birgit in Germany. Anyone else have a new favorite band, song, maybe a band that hasn't been heard of in awhile!? If you were to meet someone from OV, what would you invite them to listen to? Folks are listening... this much I know. Spread the word! Dirty on Purpose and Drive by Truckers also win big time in my book. Gourds, Old 97's, Uncle Tupelo, STS (has anyone seen an album by these guys except Shooting the Sun), Dressy Bessy, Chomsky, Deathray Davies, Kingdom Flying Club. These are all great bands that are a little below most peoples radars. A numer of these are from my hometown of Dallas, TX. > Just a note... As I am sure, many of you know him...but I have run across many who don't....I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Ray LaMontagne (la-mon-tain). This man puts his heart and soul into all the music he shares......Visit the web site, check him out, go to interact, download some music, sit back in wonder, those of you who have, know what I am talking about... _www.raylamontagne.com_ (http://www.raylamontagne.com) Alex, still a major del fan ------------------------------ End of oppositeview-digest V8 #10 *********************************
