That was so back on form with a lot of his older songs (not that any of his songs have ever been off form) The lyrics were amazing. I actually captured it off the radio when it was broadcast and carried it with me on my Ipod. Unfortunatley I wiped my Ipod by mistake when I reset my computer. I figure that no matter what the style of the songs I'll dig it because I think he's got a distinct voice and writes some intelligent lyrics. So even if it's more like "Belong, Belong" than "When I Want You," I'll just be glad that he's still around making music. > >Dave > >PS - speaking of new records... my new record, Waiting Room, is entering the mix phase. I'm hoping it'll be out by the end of October, but I'll be sure to let the list know for sure. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 12 Sep 2005 12:47:13 -0500 From: Alison Bellach Subject: Re: OV: Justin's solo record He actually re-wrote "No, Surrender" and is putting a much longet (~7 min) version on the new album. I'm starting an internet radio station that was to feature Radio Free Del Amitri, but they don't allow stations that feature only one artist. So... I'd like whoever would like to, to send me (oppositeview@gmail.com) a song that would fit on a Radio Free Del Amitri radio station. It needs to be in an mp3 format, the higher the bitrate the better. These are NOT to be Del Amitri requests, rather similar artists that other Dels fans would enjoy. Bands like Crowded House, Wilco, etc. would fit, in my humble opinion. Thank you, I'll let everyone know when the station is up and running! Darren ------------------------------ End of oppositeview-digest V7 #103 **********************************
