Excellent post. All I can say re: Hayseed Dixie, although it's been highjacked and done to death, is a very heart felt WooooHoooooo!! Glad you enjoyed them, but I'm not so sure the accents were all that fake? LOL! Guildfest sounded like a blast compared to what's touring through here this year. I shall have to make it over to one of the UK festivals one of these years. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 19 Jul 2005 20:24:39 +0100 From: Andrew Douglas Subject: OV: Hayseed DIxie Yeah, hayseed dixie are great. I've a few of their songs .... although one of them circulating on the net, "Gin & Juice" (originally a Snoop song, my new hero!;)) is actually done by a band called the Gourds I think. I got introduced to them on a ski trip by an america called Travis - is there a more perfect american name? Anyhow, if you like reworked covers you should check out Ben Folds' "Bitches AIn't Shit" originally a Dr. Dre song. He did it live and it was amazing, it was also a b-side to one of his singles apparently so it's easy enough to get a download, I love it! bye for now Andy On 19 Jul 2005, at 16:01, prudencetofu@earthlink.net wrote: > Jane!
