However, I saw the Finn Brothers last summer in NYC, and Richard Thompson is playing in my town in a couple of weeks (interestingly, because I'm an hour outside of Manhattan) . Does anyone out there know and like English folker Martin Carthy (and Waterson: Carthy, which is him, his wife and daughter)? He's in NY this summer too. Evidently they're making it over here some how. I'd bet the Del breakdown had a lot more behind it than practical logistics. The guys were ready for a change. Let them re-find themselves, and they'll be back around. We did have the UDS, did we not? And we've seen that JC has been performing here and there, working quietly, but working nonetheless. rw >From: Bokken2@aol.com >To: oppositeview@smoe.org >Subject: Re: OV: Is this thing on? >Date: Wed, 6 Jul 2005 11:04:32 EDT > >Dave, >Absolutely on the money.
