However, I'm not so sure eBay is the right place to sell it. If he tries some of the auction houses, eg Christies, who specialise in guitar auctions he'll probably do a lot better. After all Clapton has managed to sell one or two there and got a good price. Places like Hard Rock Cafi etc are always on the lookout at auction houses - though I don't know if Kris is high-profile enough for them. I can understand his reason for selling but it must be heart-breaking all the same. Also, (not that it matters), I imagine that the market for the guitar is primarily the Japanese collectors. I believe that there is a club of Zematis owners that is based in Japan.
