It's good to finally see some discussion here (or, rather, it's nice ot have something to talk about). I loved the BBC performance...thanks for letting us on the other side of the pond know about it. As for AOL and AIM, because I am not an AOL member, I can't access their privacy policy. However, I did find AIM's terms of service and found what Darren posted. I'll copy the relevant section below, as well as a link to the page where I found it. It's a little misleading, I think, because it refers to "Content" being posted. In the section above the one Darren quoted, it lists what it considers "content," including music, photographs, etc. However, it does include "information" which they must use to mean anything we type. It certainly is sad and scary that we have no right to privacy with AIM. Until next time... I went to itunes and am now a PROUD owner of Dave's album "Sometimes Nothing." Love the compositions, voice and melodies Dave! Can't wait to hear the next one. Upon browsing around itunes, I discovered the Del's song "Tell Her This" on Donny Osmond's favorites play list. Go figure! The song that popped on was Days Between, but I love the entire damn album, which I know I've posted about before. I really think that you are just about to burst into fame! Seriously! Because you're way better than Jack Johnson or John Mayer. Maybe we should turn OV into a Dave Sills fan group in between Justin sightings ;) - ------------------------------------------------------------------- Alison Bellach: alibee@delamitri.com http://alibee.delamitri.com http://www.delamitri.com "If you want peace, work for justice." ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 13 Mar 2005 13:56:15 -0500 From: "William Kates" Subject: OV: only slightly ot ;) Just wanted to chime in to say that I really like the Dave Sills CD too and to express my appreciation to this message board for among other things, Dave Sills, Darren's tribute CD, numerous timely tips to broadcast events, BBC, online, etc. We've been on life support these last couple of years, but it's been nice to read everyone checking in this week. Cheers to all. - William Kates ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 13 Mar 2005 15:06:02 -0500 From: "Rachel Wifall" Subject: RE: OV: only slightly ot ;) Speaking of Darren's tribute CD, where's the second one? Was there not enough material in the end to compile one? This would be a great time for a tribute disk, since we're in such a Dels lull. rw >From: "William Kates" >To: oppositeview@smoe.org >Subject: OV: only slightly ot ;) >Date: Sun, 13 Mar 2005 13:56:15 -0500 > >Just wanted to chime in to say that I really like the Dave Sills CD too and >to express my appreciation to this message board for among other things, >Dave Sills, Darren's tribute CD, numerous timely tips to broadcast events, >BBC, online, etc. We've been on life support these last couple of years, >but it's been nice to read everyone checking in this week.
