Right enough, the kind of filth I've been known to bounce back and forth on the AIM channels to the blokey would see AOL done for indecency if they tried to publish it! ;) Don't know where you got that quote from, Darren, but the AOL privacy statement includes the following: AOL's Privacy Commitment: Principle 1 We do not read your private online communications. AOL honours the confidentiality of its members' private communications in private chat rooms, email (including downloads), and Instant Message conversations, as well as any profile data you may create, such as a stock portfolio. AOL does not read or disclose private communications without your consent to third parties except where we or an entity processing your data on our behalf is compelled to do so by law, or in response to a valid, legally compliant request by a competent authority, to protect the company's rights and property, or during emergencies when we believe physical safety is at risk. Of course, what you write or post in public or member chat rooms and message boards is available to the public. So... don't ask me, I haven't a clue! But I'm not about to let a bit of scaremongering make me change ISP yet, sorry! I love listening to it on random, so things that I may have not heard for a while come on and I can look at the screen and be again inspired by what a great band _______ is and revel in them for a bit. Anyway, I was cleaning today when a BRILLIANT song came on. I actually stopped what I was doing to listen to it. Know who it was? Dave Sills. If you don't own his album yet then FOR SHAME! It really is splendid. :) - ------------------------------------------------------------------- Alison Bellach: alibee@delamitri.com http://alibee.delamitri.com http://www.delamitri.com "If you want peace, work for justice." ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 12 Mar 2005 15:38:53 -0800 From: "Darren Holmquist" Subject: OV: OT: Rember when Remember when someone stealing your identity meant that you lost your wallet? ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 12 Mar 2005 18:03:53 -0800 (PST) From: Dave Subject: Re: OV: only slightly ot ;) The check is in the mail Alison... ;) What song was it? My new album, WAITING ROOM, is in the home stretch. We're currently waiting to see if the keyboard player of a fairly well known band is going to be able to play on a track or two (no, it's not Andy). When it's actually done I'll let everyone know. Until then - anyone out there who still likes to have the actual physical copy in their hands can get the previous album SOMETIMES NOTHING from http://www.cdbaby.com/sills and those who aren't liner note junkies can find it in the Apple iTunes Music Store or on just about any of the other legit download sites. Song clips are up on my website too: http://www.davesills.com Thanks, Dave Alison Bellach wrote: So, for Christmas I received an iPod, onto which I loaded the entirety of my CD collection (almost 7k songs, although I'm sure Taire would put me to shame!).
