Neutral Milk Hotel - In the aeroplane over the sea (great harmonic and verrrry acoustic album. my No.1 album at the time) 2. Joey Cape and Tony Sly - Accoustic (another wonderful acoustic album) 3. David and the citizens - Until the sadness is gone (take Coldplay, give 'em more folk, more spirit, more liveliness, and you got David and the citizens) 4. Bright Eyes - Lifted or the story is in the soil keep your ear to the ground (among with Justin Currie one of my favorite 3 singer/songwriters. Great album, besides) 5. Desaparecidos - Read music speak spanish (funny punk-pop with great lyrics) 6. John Vanderslice - Cellar door (another excellent singer/songwriter) 7. Sebadoh - Bakesale (one of Lou Barlow's various bands) 8. Bill Janovitz - Up here (former Buffalo Tom frontman's second solo album) 9. Badly drawn boy - The hour of the bewilderbeast (good singer/songwriter in my opinion) 10. Idlewild - The remote part (great scottish band, anyone knows this album?) phew ... took me some time to reconstruct what's in my CD player at the moment ...
