I did some research and discovered that it was Red Dragon Tattoo from their album Utopia Parkway. I shall have to listen to more of their stuff. Is Red Dragon Tattoo typical? Where should I start? I mean, how poignant can you get (in MW)..."He was killed by a celluar phone explosion..." what a great opening line! lizo ----Original Message Follows---- From: "Jeffrey D. Saw them at Irving Plaza in NYC in the late 90's, but missed them when they swung by last year. These guys are great - they're the yin to DA's pessimistic yang. I don't know why they're pushing "Hey Julie" as the next single, though, when it should clearly be "Bright Future in Sales"...... Listen to Stacy's Mom! Utopia Parkway is probably my favorite of their albums, though, and definitely a sound purchase, should you choose to do so. You should check out their very first album as well. Sink to the Bottom is a classic. Also, the lead singer (Adam Schlesinger (sp)) has another band called Ivy which is very good as well. I just so appreciate clever, good songwriting and damn good music! lizo ----Original Message Follows---- From: "Jane Armstrong" To: "'Elizabeth Osborne'" , "Dels" Subject: OV: RE: OT: Fountains of Wayne Newsletter Date: Fri, 25 Jun 2004 09:00:53 +0100 I can't say I'd ever really heard of them until I watched Kingdom Hospital a few weeks back and they ran a song through the first two episodes which got under my skin. It was such a sellout and, frankly, creepy. The song is about a kid who, presumably, is now a teenager ("I'm all grown up now, Baby can't you see?"), and has always had a crush on his childhood playmate's mom. However, in the video, the kids are about 8 years old (ewww), and the whole thing is loaded with sexual innuendo. Pedophilia? If you want some cool Christmas music, download "Alien for Christmas." rw - ----- Original Message ----- From: Andrew Douglas Sent: Friday, June 25, 2004 11:30 AM To: Dels Subject: Re: OV: RE: OT: Fountains of Wayne Newsletter They played dublin in February when I was down for the weekend, but I didn't bother going to see them.
