However, the official website states quite clearly that the release date is 19th April. They still have no official announcement of the gigs there - though tickets have been on sale for weeks. Jonathan Ross played "She Cuts Her Own Fringe" on his Saturday Radio 2 show (you can listen again at http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/ross/playlist.shtml ) The playlist states that it's a single - but there's no mention of a single release on the UDS website - though it could well be one of those radio only singles. The sheer incompetence behind this whole project is unbelievable. I tend to think the band consider UDS as a bit of a laugh but either you do it properly or you don't do it at all. They've now finally got the gigs up on the website (though they've still got the release date wrong - my copy duly arrived this morning ) and maybe the BBC got it wrong about it being a single. And Jason has been writing some funny messages on the discussion board - we know it's him by a punctuation quirk. Jonathan R was sharp enough to notice that it sounded like that bloke from Del Amitri. My copy of A Terrible Beauty arrived today and I love it! Having read some posts recently I was prepared to be disappointed, but many tunes are sticking in my head - 'Dandelion', 'Gilbert' & 'I Had a Drink' are current favourites. So when are they touring then? ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 30 Mar 2004 09:54:36 +0100 From: "Joe Brady" Subject: RE: OV: Incompetence Still Jane after yours and Scotts last post I thought you said that its all abit of fun and should be laughed at anyway?
