They seemed to be messing around somewhat but musically OK. Justin often gets the giggles on live radio sessions. Justin only sang one song, Kevin sang 2 and Jim sang one. They kept to their UDS persona and no mention was made of their real identities. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 23 Mar 2004 15:14:12 -0000 From: "Jane Armstrong" Subject: RE: OV: Ha Ha I agree 100% Scott. I think some people are taking it all a bit seriously. The songs are all tongue in cheek and rather camp and so was the performance. I know at times they sounded a bit unprofessional - but I've heard Del Amitri doing radio shows and giggling, messing around and playing a lot more bum notes than this! I'm sort of distancing myself from thinking of Justin and Del Amitri and accepting him as the Jason persona. I personally enjoyed it - and am really looking forward to seeing them live and will be treating the gig as a bit of a laugh - rather like the Otway gigs I go to. Jane Work From Home! Seems like the Del Amitri plot has thickened somewhat since then. So the Dels are no more? is that right? The Uncle Devil Show regins supreme? Hehehe sounds good to me. Have only heard the little clips on their web site, but they sound pretty good...... I get the impression that some folk are not finding the UDS stuff as accessible as Del Amitri then.
