I've been listening to the U.D.S. over the last five or six months, and it's slowly growing on me. Unfortunately it is very poor compared to any of the Del's albums. Saying this I will be the first to put my hand in my pocket and fork out for an official copy when it comes out. Back in 1995 J.C. stated ' It will be a rather grim experience the first time we put a record out and no one buys it. Which will happen eventually. It's the law of the universe. Entropy. Musical Entropy. Dread seams rather a strong word but you do. You don't want it to stop.' I feel J.C. the time to dread is nigh. Regards to all Del Amitri fans. They're hoping that Magil can make the trip too, if she can find her true identity (which she apparently continues to insist upon keeping in a jar by the door.) ..and the whole bloody mess of you naysayers are invited to partake of this debaucherous event if you have the stomach for it. Leonardo and other assorted bimbos, including a tambourine-loving bloke, may be on hand,as well. A pleasant time is guaranteed for all!!! RSVP to UncleDevil1@sol.com to find out who really IS the walrus........ Looks like an Easter visit to the In-Laws in Scotland is on the cards then if the gigs on the UDS BB are definite. Don't know about the Friday Edinburgh Venue gig though - according to www.ents24.com it's an over 14 under 18's night !!
