That's obviously not happening anytime soon. Whether they're ever even getting back together, well we've all discussed that. We'll just have to see what time does tell and in the meantime try to get our hands on solo efforts and the like. I'm wondering if JPR is attempting to get them another major label deal, or taking a serious look at some indies or maybe the DIY approach. With the continuing consolidation of major labels (and shrinking rosters), going back to the majors would not be a smart idea. I think they would be better served by recording an album and then licensing it to an indie with good distribution channels and a solid marketing department. This could be different companies with licenses for different countries. Since tour support will either be small or non-existant with an indie, they could tour the U.S. much cheaper as an acoustic trio (Justin, Iain and Andy). On a side note, if Jason from Superfecta is reading this - have you ever considered trying to license CYDMG? for release in the U.S.? ------------------------------ End of oppositeview-digest V5 #162 **********************************
