Yes, she covered "Nothing Ever Happens". I have it if you'd like to hear it. - ------------------------------------------------------------------- Alison Bellach: alibee@delamitri.com http://alibee.delamitri.com http://www.delamitri.com "If you want peace, work for justice." ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 17 Nov 2003 09:55:43 -0800 (PST) From: doug brown Subject: OV: Brady guy, OT: The Thorns I don't know who owns the Del Amitri name but the marketing value of said name is not insignificant and all it'd probably take is Justin and Iain to get back together for it to happen. Maybe only Justin. I don't think they're a write off yet. OT: Saw the new midwest rock "supergroup" last night - The Thorns. They were great, if the idea of CSN+Jayhawks sounds good to you check them out. They even covered the Jayhawks "Blue". It's 3 guys who made their names as solo acts getting together with 3 guitars and 3 part harmony. Matthew Sweet, Shawn Mullins and Pete Droge. Only downside is they aren't going to play each other's hits but they're new stuff is terrific enough and it was awesome to see Matthew Sweet back in form. ------------------------------ End of oppositeview-digest V5 #160 **********************************
