I know it's a pain in the ass if you've not got it but that's life and initially I suspect only a couple of copies caused such interest.Kevin McDermott was gobsmacked that we were so interested and that we'd heard it, so for them it doesn't seem to be a priority to get it out to the masses. It however IS on it's way now.Which is good news at last. Can anyone out there educate me as to the difference in someone who has received a copy of a copy of the UDS CD from a friend and someone who has a copy that they downloaded? There have been lots of people saying they didn't agree with the downloading who then admit they have a copy of the CD - what is the difference? Surely an illicit copy of a CD is an illicit copy of a CD no matter how you obtain it - the only valid copies are those handed out by the artist - anything else is just as wrong as someone downloading a copy. It really is hard not to disagree with Rob here. It seems a little poor that the people who've got the copy for themselves can form opinions when large amounts of OV fans show a simialiar fanatical want for the same. This is borne out of a large amount of jealously rather than some strong formed opinion about the dynamics of downloading versus not downloading. I've heard them, I couldn't get them to download. They were amazing, I want them, I want them now. I would buy three copies when they come out, really, regardless of whether I get them now or not. I will even give a person my rare copy of an early Del Amitri prom if anyone wants to do that deal, I don't collect the vinyl so it's be no loss for me there. So, to clarify, I am in no way angry here. Just male mardy jealous and maybe even slightly pathetic. MrJuggles I will go pout now To: oppositeview@smoe.org Subject: OV: UDS download or copy. Hey all- Surely JC tunes into this channel once in a blue moon, if no reason other than to get a chuckle. What do they call it? A tempest in a teapot? btw- if he doesn't hit the road to support it, it isn't gonna amount to much anyway- (my 2 cents). Nice to see we're all still on board though, still waiting with baited breath for whatever might come down from on high.
