When they showed the two women singing that song, I blurted out 'Freda Payne!!' & started singing along... I hate to admit it, but I remember hearing the original version on the radio! I was very very very young, tho, probably still in the cradle. Maybe. I for one cannot get excited about this release at all. I can't see the point in it at all, and with non-existent promotion how many units will it sell anyway? Hatful of Rain was a much better package, there's nothing outstanding about this release in the slightest. Cheers Chris - --- Susan Gardner wrote: > What in the world IS going on??? There's really nothing to get overly excited about... except that it's another disc to add to the collection. I was going to say that these compilations are cheap, but HoR is at the point where it's just as cheap! I assume the guys still get songwriting royalties on sales of this compilation, though. So, it's more cash in the kitty to produce an indie album! Darren - ---- Original Message ---- From: c_quartly@yahoo.com To: oppositeview@smoe.org Subject: Re: OV: Re: What the...?
