All they new was that the employees were setting out all sorts of food and drinks, and they knew it wasn't for *them*, but they were sticking around. I made my excuses (I was tired, long train ride home, blah friggin' blah) and left. That "something" that was up? Paul McCartney doing a warm-up gig before his world tour. I won't even go into passing up backstage passes to Spinal Tap at the Royal Albert Hall (the concert that they filmed for Break Like The Wind) because I thought they were a practical joke. Or my mother refusing backstages passes for me and my brothers for the Police's last tour because she "didn't like that sort of environment". God help the woman if I ever have to select a nursing home for her. Then, there is the Ramones... Hmph. At least I've seen del Amitri. :) C ===== - - Just give me the coffee and nobody gets hurt.
