Avril was mentioned as was Michelle Branch and Vanessa Carlton. I haven't heard much more than a snippet or two of each, but they seemed miles better than the "manufactured" bands. It's encouraging to know that not all the teens out there are following little "sheep" and that there are free-thinking individuals still out there. thanks for the optimistic news, debbie - --- cjahuff@earthlink.net wrote: > I have a 13 year old daughter and, I'm happy to say, > she despises prettyboy > bands. Feel the need to share that I just saw Elvis Costello at the Tower Theater in Philadelphia, he was brilliant, he must be one of the finest songwriters of his generation. Note to Nigel - belated congratulations on the tremendous win for Wales over Italy a couple of weeks ago (despite my name I'm not Welsh, I'm a displaced scouser living in NJ). Cheers, Paul. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 27 Oct 2002 20:15:44 -0800 (PST) From: doug brown Subject: Re: OV: Eye Candy > Oh, but it's reeeally amusing when Doug's ears go > red and his face starts to > turn blue during one of his > rants > Jen You could tell that over the internet?
