The shop is open again and we'll be expanding our LC line - your children really need LC t-shirts.. and wouldn't you like to send 'Are you ready to be heartbroken?' greetings cards?? We'll keep you posted Beth is really enjoying running the shop - she is constantly happily surprised at how nice you all are.. she is even talking about doing 'ask Beth' (my idea) to go with my one.. but maybe I'm not so sure I want the truth out there.. My friend Colin Devlin (of the group The Devlins) and I are playing a few shows together in Ireland. We9ll both be acoustic and I expect we9ll play a couple of songs together. We may play 3 sets - me, Colin, and then me again - so if you want to be sure to see the whole show - get there early. Thursday October 31st - Dublin. Venue - Vicar Street. Friday November 1st - Waterford. Venue - South. Saturday November 2nd - Cork. Venue - Half Moon. Sunday November 3rd - Limerick. Venue - Dolans. Oh, and the little blue Subaru finally gave up after serving long past it's life expectancy. I now have a nice new little silver Subaru (with working air conditioning!!) Let me know what you know about these guys, > kids. Thanks!! The first time I saw Hothouse Flowers, they weren't; they were The Incomparable Benzini Brothers, and they were busking in the streets of Dublin. (1985). I took pictures of them then because I thought they were outstanding. A couple of years later, back at home in Florida, I saw Hothouse Flowers records in the music store I worked in and noticed from the photos that these were the same guys I saw busking in Ireland. I was so happy! Got to see them live in early 1989, they were amazing. So my advice to you is to get your mits on everything they've done, and catch 'em live! What is the date of the performance of the Barrowlands show that has been in distribution of late? Also, has a cover been designed for it and posted somewhere?
