You know what's funny about this, I'm pretty much always off topic but I actually put an "OT" in the subject line for this one. I remember Mike talking about one of their Christmas shows that had a bunch of people involved including Midge Ure of Ultravox. That was probably a fun one. :) - --- Darren Holmquist wrote: > At 04:01 PM 8/24/02 +1000, Alessandro Campobassi > wrote: > >Also - Have the Dels ever had a 'special guest' > appear to sing a song or > >two at any of their live performances ??? It's a funny coincidence for me....I had no idea who they were until I saw them on a old Saturday Night Live repeat, and loved them! I wrote myself a note, to look for their albums, and of course never got around to it. Now, the band name enters my life again. Are they Scottish or Irish or English or what? The songs they played on the old Saturday Night Live (mid to late 80's I'm guessing) sort of reminded me of Bruce Springstreen and the E Street Band--hope no one is insulted by that---but it had that blue-collar working bar band vibe that had tons of energy. Let me know what you know about these guys, kids. Thanks!! ------------------------------ End of oppositeview-digest V4 #222 **********************************
