I sat late last night flicking through the Express newspaper - and they had the same story! Sorry couldn't let you all know sooner, but the photo is better, with both Iain and Justin hugging Sandro. Once I get it scanned in, who do I send it to to get it on the web (hey - I'm useless! ;) )?? Sarah ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 23 May 2002 11:18:01 +0100 From: "Leighton J. I just wanted to say a hearty thanks to Taire and Lori for such a wonderful (& long!) detailed review of the shows they attended! ALL the reviews have been really helpful for those of us that have been unable to attend! I hope others on the list have enjoyed them as much as I have. Here's a further version of Sandro with both Justin & Iain. http://home.bendcable.com/oppositeview/sandropaper2.jpg Darren ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 23 May 2002 22:10:21 +0100 From: "Hilary Gray" Subject: OV: Southampton review I'm getting round to writing my reviews of last week. Apologies for the delay and any inaccuracy - they're all beginning to blur into one. And I can't believe this was a week ago! We saw Sandro having his photo taken with Justin and Iain, but didn't recognise him at first. Wondered who the celebrity was! Then for some reason, we were let into the venue at 7pm instead of 8pm as per the ticket. So for 30 minutes about 20 fans had the run of the place, plenty of time to get settled at the front then! The usual set. Excellent sound again. Jesus Saves was absolutely fantastic, becoming my favourite song of the tour I think. Great audience. Was just thinking in the encore about how difficult it would be to write something different about yet another great gig when several bras came flying out of the audience and landed at Justin's feet. Worth a bit of a giggle. But then during Kiss This Thing Goodbye, a couple of bra-less women came to the front and put on a bit of a show for the band. The reaction of the band and crew was one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. So for anyone a bit further back who couldn't see what was going on, that was why half the song was lost to Justin corpsing on stage. And Buddy kept the bras.
