You'll find that we are a friendly bunch (mostly!!:-)). Just feel free to hop in with any comments and questions you may have. You'll find there's always someone who knows the answer. And if you want to talk about the appearance of the band you may find one or two members groaning - but just ignore them! A lot of us from all over the world have met up at gigs and for purely social reasons - maybe next time they play the South West we will meet. I was at Bristol too - there was a whole bunch of us in the front row. The band played their little socks off - and it was such a shame that so many people stayed seated throughout the gig. I've never seen that at a Dels gig before. We must all be getting older :-( Cheers Jane ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Visit my home page: http://www.delamitri.co.uk/~janea Del Amitri pages: http://www.delamitri.co.uk/~janea/Delpage.html Why not join the chat every Thursday at 9pm UK time: http://www.delamitri.co.uk/~janea/chat.html The Devlins discussion list: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TheDevlins ICQ No: 34643730 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > Hi everyone, > I put my name on this list a few days ago and i really have no idea what > goes on here. Hey there Barbera, I'm pretty new here, though have been a Del Fan from Waking Hours. This place to me is like a little community. Maybe even like a slower chat room where we can chip in with our diverse opinions. The majority of stuff is Del Related, which is fantastic. Being slightly whimsical I'll even vouch why it works so well for me. As the Dels have been with me for sooo long they are intrinsic to my person, they helped me form many opinions. Coming here taps into something nice and one step better than just listening to the music as I know I'm exchanging ideas with people who have the same passion as me. Is that too much?!!! I do waffle and get wordy when it's about something I like. Other people will have different ideas about what this place is. It's all good fun, regardless. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 16 May 2002 07:08:20 -0700 (PDT) From: Alison Bellach Subject: Re: OV: Re: Hi all!!! I will have the pleasure of seeing them twice this weekend. Shepherds Bush on Saturday and Croydon on Sunday (UK). Have you seen them already on this tour? If so, what is it like? What songs can I expect? Here's to another good gig in Southampton tonight for those of you going. Kelly usually Minneapolis P.S. I did see a shop offering to rent a mobile for #4/day. It seems like a good idea, but I wonder if these outfits might be a little dodgey and/or if the rate you end up paying for time used ends up being exhorbitant? ------------------------------ End of oppositeview-digest V4 #128 **********************************
