Hey yeah!! I'll trade my first born for some of the soundboard recordings - he's great at fixing computer glitches and at 6'7" quite handy at reaching stuff in the high cabinets for short folks like me! LOL! It's likely to sell out quickly, so if you are intending going it's an idea to pre-book the tickets. I don't know if any of the Dels will be making an appearance in her band - I suppose it depends on what they've got lined up over the coming months, but Iain, Kris and Mark have all played with her in the past. Well, I've just spent more time than i wish to mention trawling through webpages about Ronan. It appears the info that Justin wrote a song for the new album has been about for quite some time, since well before christmas - how did you miss that you net stalkers??? Anyhow, couldn't find which song Justin wrote so i went to www.ronankeating.net and looked at the new album which is released next monday. It has song clips and lyrics but no credits. Again, spending more time than i wish to mention, I've listened the songclips and read the lyrics. None immediately stick out as curriesque, however there are a couple of depressing ones so I figure it's one of them. My guess is "Blown Away" - similar lyrical twists as Justin uses, or "As Much As I Can Give You". You should go and try this, it's actually better fun than it sounds - of course I've got 30 reports to write for friday so anything seems fun right now! This is also the reason for me doing this - I'll do ANYTHING to put off writing them!!! andrew - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Monday, May 13, 2002 9:06 PM Subject: OV: Justin's Top 10 song? > Remember the hints in the band bio that there will be a big hit song with a > Justin Currie writing credit soon? I have been a lurker for a year or so and thought I would speak up. I live in Philly and will be attending the show on the 18th with a couple of friends from Milwaukee. Was wondering what pub everyone is meeting in before the show? And if you wouldn't mind having a couple more people joining in? Cheers! Joe. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 15 May 2002 08:16:01 +0100 From: "Jane Armstrong" Subject: OV: Chat Tonight Hi all Whilst we normally hold our weekly chat on Thursdays, many of us will be out at the Southampton gig tomorrow(sorry to rub it in!). Therefore, we are going to get together tonight as well at the usual time of 9pm UK time in the usual place - see link below. I'm sure people will still be there tomorrow as well - but it would be nice to see you all tonight - as some lucky people have missed a few chats whilst being serenaded by Justin and Co and are missing you all. Cheers Jane xxx (getting ready for a marathon 5 gigs in a row - and off to collect Lori and Taire from the airport to join us!) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Visit my home page: http://www.delamitri.co.uk/~janea Del Amitri pages: http://www.delamitri.co.uk/~janea/Delpage.html Why not join the chat every Thursday at 9pm UK time: http://www.delamitri.co.uk/~janea/chat.html The Devlins discussion list: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TheDevlins ICQ No: 34643730 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 15 May 2002 09:16:01 +0100 From: "Biondani, Ian" Subject: OV: RE: OT Eileen Rose gig - -----Original Message----- From: Jane Armstrong [mailto:janea@delamitri.co.uk] Subject: OV: OT Eileen Rose gig ...
