Hi Folks Good to read such positive reviews of the live gigs which is where, for me, Dels have always come into their own. I'm been very busy with work and have other gigs to go so the 1 mile trek to see them in Cardiff on Monday night will be the only time I catch them on this tour. Anyway, a couple of quick questions. 1. Have attendances been good because the Cardiff show has barely had a mention?? It's incredibly not even listed in the St Davids Halls events for the coming week. I don't know if that means full house or just me - I suspect it'll be somewhere in between. 2. What time have Dels been coming on-stage on this tour? I ask becuase I'm going to see Cardiff City play Swansea City first so won't be getting along until quite late sometime just after 9pm. 3. Obviously I'll be missing the support act but, having briefly glanced at a couple of postings, am I right in saying they're pretty ordinary (like Don - remember them? - and ... dare I say ... The Devlins!) as opposed to excellent support acts like the much missed Candyskins and King L. Sounds like they're woth missing anyway. If anyone else is at Cardiff, I'll be 2nd row, centre ... in a Cardiff City shirt!!! I think a few City fans are going straight from the match tho so I may not be the only one. Nige p.s. Not played the new album for 3 weeks, not missed it either. Although I admit found it more bearable than my initial hearings and I think it'll ironically sound better now the weather is brighter and sunnier and you car play it in the car with windows down. Not the sort of thing I care to listen to before a night out tho. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 11 May 2002 03:44:07 EDT From: NIGELBLUES@aol.com Subject: OV: Re: oppositeview-digest V4 #121 In a message dated 10/05/02 09:55:32 GMT Daylight Time, owner-oppositeview-digest@smoe.org writes: > I have just Brought a New Tune for my Nokia........Just Before you leave > by Del Amitri. > > It sounds more Like a Rolf Harris Tune. > > Save Your Money.Complete Rubbish! > > Joe.
