The Dels are being played, most afternoons on virgin Radio's Web, Rock Classics. I am listening at the oment to them. How sweet is the music!!! - -----Original Message----- From: Aleksandr [mailto:A.Yap@isu.usyd.edu.au] Sent: 27 March 2002 22:16 To: oppositeview@smoe.org Subject: OV: Just had to share. Have had a great couple of days seeing the Proclaimers on Tuesday night and Luka Bloom last night (Wednesday). Proclaimers were awesome playing lots of the old faves as well as songs from their new album, with their trademark intensity. Luka is certainly an interesting fellow as well as being very funny and a fine performer. Australia's own Jodi Martin supported Luka and she's another fine composer of songs and you can check out some of her tracks at www.jodimartin.com It's great to be able to see some international artists, especially the kind of people who are little outside of the mainstream. If this keeps up maybe we'll even get to see the Dels in Sydney (Ha!). Just thought i'd pass that one on. I got mine for #9.99 (about $15) at www.netsounds.com but they have been going for more than double that on eBay as they're new. It's worth hanging on for a couple more weeks until the album comes out - as you'll probably find the market flooding with them then.
