Does anyone know who he is or anything about him? He's also co-producer along with the Groovy Tubes. Is this the first Dels song to be written by someone not in the band? Maybe it's the same guy and he wrote the lyrics. Just a guess though. Dave ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 19 Mar 2002 11:43:35 -0600 From: Kelly Doudna Subject: OV: following the tour (sort of) I've done it--I've booked my flight to England in May (arriving the 9th, returning on the 20th)! My last two visits were in December and November, so I figured it was time for a warm weather visit, and what better motivation than the Del Amitri tour? I usually hunker down in London, so going to a few of the shows will get me to some different cities. I'm planning on hitting Glasgow, Manchester, and London. I'd love to meet up with those of you going to these dates, and, in fact, if anyone has bought as-yet-unspoken-for tickets, let me know and I'll buy one from you. Otherwise, I'll get my own in a couple of days. I know some of you had mentioned whether venues were stand-up or seated--I'd be curious to know about that, too. And if anyone has any recommendations for inexpensive hotels or bed-and-breakfasts, pass that on, too. Finally, at this point I'm planning to EasyJet it up to Glasgow from London--what can anyone tell me about that? I hear it's stripped-down, bare bones service that can be like a cattle call. Thanks, and contact me off-list. Woo-hoo! Kelly Minneapolis ------------------------------ End of oppositeview-digest V4 #71 *********************************
