Not my cup of tea, coffee, or anything else I'd want near me! It is actually $250. In semi-related news, Tom Petty's new album is apparently a semi-concept album regarding the declining state of the music business and radio from both the artist's and fans' perspective. The title of the record is "The Gold Circle" - which refers to prime seating areas at many concerts where the ticket price is placed out of reach of most true fans (see Paul McCartney, above). He doesn't like the Gold Circle concept and doesn't like how tightly formatted radio has become. Should be an interesting album. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 8 Mar 2002 10:54:49 -0800 From: darren@bendcable.com Subject: RE: OV: A McCorrection And if you like concept albums (especially those ripping the music industry apart) try Kevin Gilbert's "The Shaming Of The True". You can buy it here: http://www.popplusone.com/gilbert.html I believe you can hear some of the music at www.kevingilbert.com Darren - ---- Original Message ---- From: SngWrite1@aol.com To: oppositeview@smoe.org Subject: RE: OV: A McCorrection Date: Fri, 8 Mar 2002 13:17:27 EST >I mistakenly said the top ticket price for the formerly talented >Beatle was >$150.
