[Debbie Cushing Subject: OV: Round Table Hi, I had the radio on at the time but was somewhat distracted when the song was on. As it reached it's conclusion, Steve Wright pondered whether he had announced who it was by at the beginning. He couldn't remember and said that it would be interesting for the others to pass judgement on it first before he told us/them. At the time I can remember thinking whoever it was I wasn't hugely impressed. Everyone expressed surprise when he said it was the Dels as they didn't think it sounded anything like them. I have to admit that it did somewhat wash over me as well, and I can't believe I didn't recognise Justin's voice. Most admitted to being Del fans (including Rik Waller!), but all said they were disappointed in the track and that it wouldn't do them any favours. They all doubted it would be a hit and I have to say, from my first impressions when I didn't know it was them, I'd have to agree. Hope I'm wrong though. Okay, I'm off to muster up the energy to comment re: the new material.
