If the title is a real turn off, or sounds sexist or offensive, then some people may be less inclined to buy it, as it could reflect the content. I'm sure we'd all buy it whatever, but we are only a couple of hundred people. I worry more about album contents than names, but sometimes a creative name can help sell an album (like, "you bought it, you name it") I don't care if they call it doggie doo-doo (or is he a rap singer?), I can hardly wait to hear it. Take Some Other Suckers Parade out of the context of the song...I remember thinking, "What kind of group is this?", hoping that Tell Her This wasn't the equivalent of Extreme's "More than Words" (I didn't know they had leather and spikes and really long 80s hair for quite some time...) I don't necessarily think a band needs to censor themselves about album titles for the sake of a demographic, but it probably couldn't hurt. As a title, it's ok I suppose, but it's hard to believe that "can you do me good?" is the result of lots of hard work and symbolic reference. Maybe we'll be surprised when we hear the CDs content...and all will become clear. Leah On Mon, 1 Oct 2001 13:22:17 +0100 "Jane Armstrong" writes: > Except that a title can be important. Nice to know some corporate giants (including Publix, who has three Dels songs on their store cd) know good music when they hear it. Now if I could only find a ringtone for Roll to Me.............
