My sister used to be somewhat into him and his work with Darden Smith. I used to chat online and through e-mail (as well as actual written correspondence) with a guy called Peter who told me he was Boo's manager. Now he's working with Eileen!? He really gets around, huh? :-) Ok...now this will be a little off topic, but is anyone here familiar with where Wolverhampton is? If so, e-mail me off list. I need input on a trip I'm taking in December. have a great day, debbie - --- Jane Armstrong wrote: > I must admit I'd not heard of Boo Hewerdine until > last January, when he > appeared on stage to do a duet with Eileen Rose (I > think they'd written the > song together - Libby??). He was part of King L (along with Gary Clark, ex-Danny Wilson lead singer) who supported Dels on their Twisted UK tour. Boo has been involved in a number of excellent projects in recent years. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 5 Sep 2001 01:12:08 +0100 From: "Jane Armstrong" Subject: OV: Re: Re: oppositeview-digest V3 #218 > Both you and the Dels would have come across Boo Hewerdine before. > > He was part of King L (along with Gary Clark, ex-Danny Wilson lead singer) > who supported Dels on their Twisted UK tour. Ah that explains it then! They cancelled the one gig I could afford to go to on the Twisted tour (to capitalise on the success of Roll To Me in the US was the excuse given)! So I never actually saw King L. Jane ------------------------------ End of oppositeview-digest V3 #219 **********************************
