I have seen them twice live. First time they were brilliant although second time they suffered with a bad sound and a very strong gusting wind (oo-er). My fave is the first album and is chok full of great poppy guitary tunes. It would be a dream if they support the Dels on tour! The Supernaturals are back, at last, with a new single, album and tour about to be launched. The tour currently is confined from Scotland to the North Midlands (plus the obligatory couple of dates around London). For anyone interested, they've just launched an official website. www.thesupernaturalsofficialwebsite.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 9 Aug 2001 15:19:57 +0100 From: Helen Pickering Subject: OV: RE: RE: The Supernaturals I think they already did at the 'Gig on the Green' in Glasgow a few years back (when they did Scotland's World Cup Football song). I have vague memories of the singer dropping the mike, and/or guitar strings breaking. Others may have better memories, since I think there were quite a few people there. (Libby, do you remember?) I remember the keyboardist Ken being the most manic person ever on stage ...... Both of their LP's are brilliant - and the best things are the amazing b-sides of the sinlges are a joy to behold (remind us all of another band perhaps??) I think you have just named my band! My memory of seeing them live was that they were all very drunk and finished by playing 'Day Before Yesterdays Man'. As the last chord rung out James (great name that) threw his quitar in the air and the drummer was a bit surprised when it landed in his lap!
