It just so happened that my schedule worked out so that after I had been to the Minneapolis Basilica Block Party, I was able to pass through Chicago for the Old St. Pat's party the following week (or whatever the time spacing was), though that was before I was hanging out on this list. In Minneapolis I caught a drum stick at the end, and then as I was leaving, briefly said hi to the gal with the other one. In Chicago, I was standing to the right of two couples from California who I got the impression had come just to see Del Amitri. And just in front of us was a completely drunken fellow who kept teetering and finally fell over. Ring any bells with anyone?
