The actor, who made his singing debut in Moulin Rouge with Nicole Kidman, will join a bill that already includes Eminem, Travis, Iggy Pop and Marilyn Manson at the Gig on the Green in Glasgow on 25 and 26 August. Concert spokeswoman Fiona Hutchinson said: 'We are in talks with Ewan McGregor to have him play the festival and it looks very likely it will happen. He has a great singing voice and the idea of performing in front of a home crowd is very exciting for him. He has even got a band together.' She added that he would appear as long as he can fit it into his schedule. Cheers & have a great weekend all... Heh, I met Mark, Jude and son at one of those 1998 shows. She was a real rock and roll chick - a lot closer to Chrissie Hynde than Jennifer Aniston. All of them were also very nice people. He sang in A Life Less Ordinary, too. I'd go see 'im sing. Heck, I'd go just to hear him talk or even just stand there looking pretty. :-) Have a good weekend! debbie - --- Jennifer Woyan wrote: > Speaking of a certain Scots devil.... > > http://www.peoplenews.com/news/0,3430,6084,00.html > Actor McGregor to make singing debut in Glasgow > > Ewan McGregor is to sing at an open-air concert in > Scotland.
