It's my first message in "The Opposite View", so, I want to tell you a little bit about me and about why I'm here.First of all, Darren's page is great. I was hooked, not drugged, but really impressed with all the information about my devoted Dels that you can find on it, so I decided to join this mailing list. I love Del Amitri since 1989, but I only know one person who likes them too, so I always thought that I was a bit lonesome. But now I see that there is a whole little "Del Amitri World" and, believe me, I'd be delighted if I could be a little part of it. The first song I listened was "Nothing ever happens", and I thought: "Man, here there is a british group that you can listen and understand. Great!" My English is good, but without the lyrics, sometimes is really hard to understand what they say. And the very first time that I heard "Nothing ever happens", I understood nearly all!!! I loved the poetry of Currie's lyrics, and I run to buy "Waking hours", to discover that they were pure gold. After that, step by step I have enjoyed the rest of these years Del's magic. And I think that it's great to share all the feelings that they can make you feel with other ones that feel the same way. Thanks a lot for be over there. Kisses from Spain.
