They're a band from Selinsgrove, PA. Anyway, I've been a big fan for a while. (They're REALLY nice guys, not unlike a certain Glaswegian band we know :-) Anyway, they're on hiatus at the moment and working on several side projects. One of which is lead singer Pete Palladino's solo project. I've ordered, but have not yet received, his new CD, but I've downloaded the mp3s he's got available on his web site (www.petepalladino.com) and they're great! Also...and I don't know why I never connected the two, but it turns out that Pete's a big fan of our Dels, too! In fact, they used to be on the same label, so I should have figured they might be compatible. ...anyway... I don't know if any of you are in or near Pittsburgh, but if you're planning on going to The 3 Rivers Arts Fest, I'd suggest going by and checking Pete out. I only wish I lived in Pennsylvania. They get all the cool stuff. Anyway, here's some of the info Pete sent out about it in e-mail: "Just a few notes to all those who are planning on joining me this Saturday at The 3 Rivers Arts Fest in Pittsburgh. My performance has been moved from the 2nd stage over to the main stage. That's right, I don't go on after the puppet show anymore! I'll be sharing the stage that day with Fighting Gravity and my friends The Clarks so come and enjoy. For any info/directions call 412-281-8723 or check out www.artsfestival.net" If anyone goes, let me know how the show went since I can't be there! Have a great day! debbie Spot the hottest trends in music, movies, and more. http://buzz.yahoo.com/ ------------------------------ End of oppositeview-digest V3 #145 **********************************
