Thanks for posting those Kev - Jude looks lovely - those both look so happy. Those of us who met her in January would all agree that she's a great person, and they seem made for each other. The band look like they're extras from The Godfather! Especially Andy! Nice to see Justin's washed his hair for this photo - compared with the last ones we saw of him :-))) Jane ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 8 Jun 2001 11:11:01 -0400 (EDT) From: Leah Schenkenberg Subject: RE: OV: Re: Mark Wedding Pictures yes, but why so seventies? They're a fun band live. And, yes, they DO play "Baby Hit Me One More Time".... Kevin, thanks for sharing this with us. Please tell Mark thanks too for allowing us obsessives a peek at a very special day. What a gorgeous couple they are! And what a delight to see the band all dressed up with somewhere to go. They clean up real nice, my grandma would say. TTFN Susan 6 days and counting til Paris & London!! ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 8 Jun 2001 13:41:06 -0700 (PDT) From: Debbie Cushing Subject: Re: OV: OT Scottish Bands What the heck is this reviewer talking about...a lot of my favorite bands are Scottish. My first ever favorite band was the Bay City Rollers (oops...giving away my age, huh?). There's been a slew of them ever since (Rod Stewart, Big Country, Simple Minds, Texas, Teenage Fan Club, and The Proclaimers, just to name a few). Of course our Dels have been my fave since I first heard them in 1985. Oh...I've pretty much decided that I'll be going to Glasgow for the first week of December, so if anyone knows of any good shows that week (other than the 4th & 5th), let me know. I'm hoping maybe I'd actually be lucky enough to see our Dels, but knowing my luck, they'll be touring the US at that point. I can just picture them actually coming to Dallas for the first time in 6 years, and I'll be in Glasgow. Have a good weekend everyone, debbie - --- Jane Armstrong wrote: > The London Evening Standard did a review of another > of Glasgow's finest, > Travis.
