The BAD THING is that the most important event of that year past me by compltely! So my first Dels song was either BMD or ATLTK - years later! Sorry for the cliche, but what about a little bit of positive thinking here? And maybe somebody can explain to poor little me what "paypal payments" are? Paypal is a system that one uses much like a credit card. You have an account with paypal (www.paypal.com), into which you deposit funds. Then, the person from whom you are trying to buy stuff takes the money from paypal, who takes the money from your account. - ------------------------------------------------------------------- Alison Bellach: alibee@delamitri.com http://alibee.linex.com http://www.delamitri.com "If you want peace, work for justice." ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 27 Apr 2001 14:36:59 -0400 From: "Susan & C. Glad you brought this up - I just set up a PayPal account because a fellow in California who sells my blues musician prints for me online pays me that way (and its worked quite well so far, no security problems or deposit problems), but honestly I've never bought anything using PayPal yet. And I understood that they've gone international, so you don't have to live in the states to use the setup. It lets me handle credit card payments, because I'm not set up to handle them online through my web site and neither is this guy who sells stuff for me. If anybody actually really wants prints of that Cheltenham station I did, email me privately and let me know... maybe this is how we could handle it. I'll let you know sizes and other details. Keep in mind that I'm always up for a trade/swap too, so if you want a print let's chat. TTFN Susan ------------------------------ End of oppositeview-digest V3 #109 **********************************
